Elder Sager has is doctorate in Expository Preaching. Expository preaching involves the comprehensive explanation, of the Scripture; presenting the meaning and intent of a biblical text, providing commentary and examples to make the passage clear and understandable. The expository preacher's goal is simply to expose the meaning of the Bible, verse by verse. Prayer Meeting is being held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00p.m. in the Fireside Room. Ladies, Sunday November 8th from 10 to Noon in the fireside room, we will have a baby shower for Susan Eaton. Susan is having a little boy and she is registered at Target. Questions? Contact Shannon Chilson. Upper Room Experience is held Friday night at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to come and enjoy the fellowship. We are looking forward to another powerful season of Upper Room! 392 Best Choice labels are needed by November 7th. This will enable us to redeem 2000 UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODES for 2009 INVESTMENT. Community Interests COME FOR FALL FUN! – Join Helen Hyatt Elementary and College View Academy Students for the Annual Fall Festival on November 1, 2009 from 1 – 4 p.m. in the CVA gym. PLEASE NOTE THE EARLIER TIME! There will be food, games, and a great time for fellowship. This annual FUNdraiser helps support our classes and other school organizations. Can't wait to see you there! Family Life Seminar: Tom & Alane Waters, internationally recognized speakers and co-founders of Restoration International will be at the Northside Adventist Church, November 6-8 at 7 p.m. For more info contact Lonny or Connie. Piedmont Park Church Concert Series The Lesters in Concert Saturday, November 7, 7:00 pm. You are invited to experience a Lester's concert! Come early and bring your friends. This is a free concert hosted by Gospel Road Trio. Doors will open at 6:00 pm. An offering will be taken. EDEN TO EDEN is a locally produced TV program with an hour-long time slot that presents Bible-based presentations in a professional and interesting way. Watch the EDEN TO EDEN on Cable TV channel 13, Fridays at 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. Sabbath School Workshop: Nov. 7th at the Omaha Memorial Church from 2 to 5 p.m. After the general session, breakouts led by experienced Sabbath School teachers will target various age levels, provide creative and innovative teaching ideas.
